SAL top-loading cabinets are furnished with lid made of acrylic glass. The thickness of 8 mm is a compromise of good heat insulation of the testing chamber during salt spray tests. On the other hand it allows heat losses so there is an efficient water condensation according the DIN EN ISO 6270-2, or ASTM D2247. As we all are supposed to save energy respectively to reduce the carbon dioxide emission we offer a thermoinsulation hood for salt spray and particularly for CASS-Tests. There is a window in the front which can be unclasp to have a view into the testing chamber.
