Enthalpy is a measure of the amount of energy needed to change the state of a substance from a solid to a liquid or from a liquid to a gas. The most common application for the HHAQ-106 enthalpy-calculating algorithm is measuring the enthalpy of vaporization of air in an HVAC/R system duct.
