- The ICL-6100 is a six-channel opto sensor with two manual and four automatic operating modes. This device replaces six single-channel opto sensors with the advantage of no mutual interaction between each single channel.
- The automatic operating mode provides a secure functionality that adjusts to external interferences, deterioration and misalignment of the sensors. The device has semiconductor outputs.
- The device settings can be changed with the related software only. It is possible to program eight different basic settings which can be selected via DIP switch.
- An integrated test button is used for determining sensor alignment and also reporting wire breakage. The alarm output displays if the sensors are too polluted.
- The Master/Slave operation provides the possibility to synchronize two of the following amplifiers: ICL-2100, ICL-6100 and ICL-8100. That means that a system of two combined amplifiers works with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or even 16 totally independent channels.
- Using the test input via an external connection, an automatic function test can be activated. The analog output may also be used for the alignment of the sensors.
- One LED scale shows the switching status for each channel while another shows that the signal strength is sufficient. An alarm LED and alarm output acts as a contamination indicator and sensor breakdown signal. All connections use quick-connect plugs.
