HM - 20L is a lightweight, compact and easy to use measuring microscope. It can be widely used with inspecting such as machinery industry, paper industry, textile industry etc, and use in education field. When observing a large specimen, it can also be placed on the specimen for observation.
In the standard specification, the total magnification is 20 times, but by removing the intermediate lens barrel, the total magnification becomes 10 times. The range that can be measured with the actual field of view at each magnification and the attached micrometer (detachable) is as follows.
· Total magnification 10 times (when removing the intermediate lens barrel): Real field of view 17 mm, length up to 10 mm measurable
· Overall magnification 20 times (when the intermediate barrel is attached): Real field of view 8.5 mm, length up to 5 mm can be measured
It can also be used for measuring indentation of hardness test (Brinell hardness, Vickers hardness etc.).
Furthermore, since the mechanism which can finely adjust the size of the image is attached, the scale of the eyepiece micrometer can be set to a neat numerical value. After setting, length reading becomes very easy, it is very convenient.
· Total magnification 10 times: One scale of the ocular micrometer can be set to 100 μm
· Total magnification 20 times: One scale of the ocular micrometer can be set to 50 μm
