Brief Description

 In order to keep fiber tension at a practical minimum, all drive motors are controlled for gentle acceleration. A motorized, fiber tension-controlled payoff keeps fiber tension exactly at the preset level at all times. The fiber winding speed is limited to match the actual curing performance of the UV irradiators according to user adjustable characteristics. The fibers are coated by highprecision hard metal sizing nozzles with a standard bore of 0.262 mm. Advanced interchangeable ink tanks allow quick and easy color changing. The pay-off and take-up are equipped with reel traversers and tension regulators. The take-up uses a light barrier reel flange detector to automatically maintain correct, precise reel geometry.

Modular Construction 

The system comprises of three main components which can be equipped and extended with up to six processing units. This means that up to six fibers can be coated simultaneously and independently. In addition, a range of Options enables the system to be customized to meet your specific requirements. TPO-L = Autotraversing pay-off unit Motorized reel shafts in conjunction with a high-precision fiber tension sensor and control system keep the pull exerted on the fiber constant. With automatically traversing reel for reduced fiber torsion and ultra light dancer for shock absorbing.

Ink Supply, Coating Unit and Ink Curing Unit CCD-L Ink Supply System with up to six easily replaceable ink tanks. Fiber Coating Assembly with interchangeable coating heads. Hard metal intake and calibrating nozzles. Dust blower nozzles at the intake end and antistatic electrodes remove dust particles adhering to the fiber due to electrostatic charging. Coating heads are electrically heated in order to reduce the viscosity of UV curable inks. Special coating head supports ensure precise centering. Ink Curing Unit with up to six irradiator systems and nitrogen flooding system for enhanced curing performance. Air cooling/extractor fan. Irradiator control electronics located in main control cabinet. M550 UV Radiator Ozone free UV irradiator system with low current consumption and long service life. Irradiator power is continuously adjustable to optimally match the required curing speed. Standby mode for instant run-up at any time.
