Instrument characteristics:
The instrument enables the resilience of elastomers to be determined with hardness ranging from 30 to 85 points IRHD.
The normalized resilience is the relation between the returned energy and applied in the impact between the hammer of the instrument and the specimen, having dimensional characteristics defined by standards. The measurement is made determining the hammer striker rebound angle after the impact.
The control method gives useful indications regarding the dynamic behaviour of the elastomer.
The instrument automatically calculates the mean and standard deviation of 5 tests.
