BLT-100 Tumbling Tester for crown closures is used for the abrasion test of crown closures.
Test method:
1. Weigh 25 pcs of clean crown closures, up to 0.1 mg;
2. Put them into BLT-01 and tumble for 50 minutes at 20 RPM;
3. Take out the closures and clean the attached lacquer from the closures. Weigh them up to 0.1 mg;
4. Do the same test with the new samples again. The average of the 2 test results is the abrasion value of the closures. Acceptability limit refers to the list below
