Exacto Pit Gauges are designed for ease of use, accuracy, and repeatability in the inspection of oil, water, and gas line integrity. The PGD12184 includes a 4" bridge, 12" bridge, and 18" bridge to effectively span pits of differing lengths. Notched feet prevent the bridge from rocking on a rounded surface. Plot corrosion profiles quickly and accurately by moving the digital dial indicator along the bridging bar. The PGD12184 can even be used upside down thanks to its ceramic magnets. Thumbscrews facilitate one-handed operation.
The left-handed scale measures increasing depth as the tip drops into the pit and a locking adjustment screw allows instant calibration to a reference surface. This kit comes with both a needle tip and a conical tip.
