This stand is for use with PTC®'s line of pencil style durometers and is also fully compatible with durometers of other manufacturers.
The Precision engineered durometer stand has a calibrated 1kg deadweight to provide the ASTM D2240 recommended force for durometer types A, B, E and O. When properly used this stand and your durometer will make highly accurate hardness readings.
The support table is self-aligning for use with a non-parallel material.
