Application fields of the WMM series
The machines of the WMM series provide you with a precise system for the rapid measurement of rotationally symmetrical objects up to 2200 mm in length and a maximum of 400 mm in diameter. The length and diameter, radii, angle, chamfers, as well as all necessary shape and position tolerances can be measured and determined in the basic equipment.
All in one - the WMM series also reduces your throughput times.
High measuring speed, easy operation and the SAPHIR measuring and evaluation software make the system particularly suitable for workshop and measuring room applications. The main advantage compared to comparable systems is the high measurement accuracy not only in diameter but also in lengths, smallest contours, radii and indentations on rotationally symmetrical measuring objects. In addition, there is the possibility of precise reflected light measurement of basic bores, grooves and other contours and elements which can not be measured in transmitted light. If this is not enough, the WMM 300 can be equipped with a fully-fledged, tactile 6-way measuring probe TP200 and, starting with the WMM 450, even a scanning probe SP25. Then, from the 2D- a 3D wave-measuring machine.
The mathematically integrated CNC axis of rotation and the possibility of individual illumination of the measuring point with the switchable sector reflected light ensure a complete and constantly precise measurement. By the way, due to the complete measurement on the shaft measuring machine, you may not need additional measuring devices. You save time and money by eliminating transport and handling.
The modular concept of the WMM series also enables customer-specific solutions.
