Oriel's 200-500 W Xenon (Xe) and Mercury-Xenon (Hg(Xe)) Research Arc Lamp Sources are a good choice for users that need a broadband light source with specific spectral emissions in the ultraviolet (UV) or near-infrared (NIR) regions. Each kit includes a short arc Xe or Hg(Xe) with lamp power and if necessary, lamp speciality (ozone free, UV-enhanced, etc.) selected for the user's application requirements. Also included in each kit is an OPS-A500 power supply to operate the lamp with maximum stability and minimum output ripple, as well as all the necessary interconnection cables for operation.
