- When powering the transmitter from the integral power supply, red is the positive lead. When operating in unpowered modem mode the VIATOR+ is polarity insensitive so you may attach either one of the test clips to positive or negative poles for modem only use. Transformer isolation allows you to connect the unit across the current sense resistor or the field device
- Powered Modem or Modem Only mode is easily plug selected so you´ll always have a power supply with you.
