Measurement can be made by a single person since thetester can be secured in close contact with a measuredobject by inflating the 14mm rubber at the end of thetester by turning the adjust nut (only when used for the14mm spark plug). In the case of a vehicle with a plugother than the 14mm spark plug, the tester can be used asa manual pressure contact type by replacing the 14mmrubber with the provided V rubber.
