The FLS-40 is a new member to FibreOptica's laser source family.
It offers stable and accurate four wavelength light sources for field and laboratory use. It can automatically recognize the wavelength in use. It is perfect for testing PONs (Passive Optical Networks) with its built-in wavelength of 1310/1490/1550nm commonly used in FTTx and complies with ITU-T G.983 and G.984 recommendation and IEEE 802.3ah standard.
It also supports 650nm for locating breaks within OTDR dead zones and tight bends in optical fiber. Hence, the potable tool is an idea tool for FTTx installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
