The FELIX position sensor measures a linear displacement of up to 20 mm. It is highly resistant to contamination at the measuring point. It is particularly robust, has a high linearity and a working temperature range from −30 ° up to +120 °C.
FELIX has 2 Hall sensors that measure the magnetic field of specially constructed circular magnets. The position sensor was designed for use in hydraulic transmissions. The plunger used to measure position changes is made of hardened steel, and can for example be installed directly in hydraulic oil.
