The sensor modules are digital, temperature compensated and pressure independent. Furthermore, they are fully calibrated for air and natural gas and have a standard connection and I2C interface. The certified standard products SGM70xx feature GWI-tested software and hardware to compensate for the various gas mixtures. Natural gas meters with integrated gas meter modules from Sensirion can obtain European NMI certification.
The Performance of the gas meter modules SGM70xx is based on the innovative CMOSens® Technology, in which the sensor component and the evaluation circuit are integrated on a single CMOS microchip. The result is a cost-effective system for mass production and long-term stability for applications.
