If the instrument is installed on a building, the height of the instrument should be at least 1.5 times the minimum value between the height of the building and the longer diagonal of the roof.
To prevent erroneous indications of the magnetic compass, mount the instrument away from materials magnetic devices and devices that generate magnetic fields (electric motors, power cables, transformer stations, radars, radio transmitters etc.).
In the case of mobile installations (for example on a boat), it must be taken into account that the instrument measures the relative (apparent) wind speed by respect to the instrument. To de-to finish the absolute speed (real) it is necessary to consider the speed of movement of the instrument.
All instrument sensors have been calibrated at the factory and require no intervention additional from the user.
If not otherwise specified, with the factory settings the instrument enters configuration mode on ignition, and remains waiting to receive programming commands from the parameters of operation through the RS232 serial connection. To know the parameters available configuration, the corresponding factory preset, change commands and for the selection of the operating mode, refer to chapter 6 "CONFIGURATION".
If, on the other hand, the instrument is already set to operate in one of the available operating modes (SDI-12, NMEA, MODBUS-RTU, RS232 owner, RS485 owner), the programmed mode will be active after 10 seconds of ignition.
