The YOUNG Model 81000V Ultrasonic Anemometer is a 3-axis, no-moving-parts wind sensor with four synchronized voltage input channels and serial output.
The sensor features durable corrosion-resistant construction with 3 opposing pairs of ultrasonic transducers supported by stainless steel members. Each 81000V is individually wind-tunnel calibrated. Wind and sonic temperature is transmitted serially via RS-232 and RS-485. Signals from up to 4 additional voltage devices may also be included in the serial string. The sensor installs on standard 1 inch pipe.
